While some teams ended their season on Friday, some teams will begin a new one this week.
The N.C. High School Athletic Association released the brackets for the 2011 football state playoffs on Saturday evening, including 256 high schools from across the state.
First round games will be played on Nov. 4. All first round games are held at the highest seed.
