Two Middle Creek football players picked up offers from Western Michigan recently.
Middle Creek High School football coach Sean Crocker said Monday that defensive linemen Josh Banks and Darius Wilkins received offers from the Broncos.
Banks stands at 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds. He recorded 58 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble last season as a junior.
Western Michigan is the second offer for Banks. Wake Forest offered the rising senior already.
At 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Wilkins recorded 93 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an interception last season.
Middle Creek was 9-4 last season. The Mustangs upset Leesville Road in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 4-AA state playoffs before falling to Garner in the second round.
