Rodney Purivs is back on the recruiting board.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound guard from Raleigh's Upper Room Christian Academy told HighSchoolOT.com through a text message Monday that he has rescinded his commitment to Louisville.
Purvis committed to Louisville last December. He is considered a five-star prospect by all major recruiting websites.
The rising senior has a number of offers from high major programs from across the country, but Purvis said he does not have any favorites as of yet.
Baylor, Duke, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Memphis, NC Central, NC State, South Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Xavier have all extended offers to Purvis. Other schools may begin recruiting Purvis now that he has opened the process back up.
Purvis decided to rescind his commitment after Louisville assistant coach Tim Fuller left for Missouri. But Purivs has said he is still open to returning to Louisville.
