Scout.com is reporting that Terry Sanford point guard Chris Wilson has verbally committed to St. Joseph's.
Wilson, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound point guard for the Bulldogs, is a three-star prospect, according to the recruiting website.
For two consecutive seasons, Wilson has helped Terry Sanford to runner-up finishes in the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 4-A state playoffs. He was also a participant in Dave Telep's Carolina Challenge, an annual camp featuring the top 80 underclassmen in the state of North Carolina.
The left-handed Wilson is known for his aggressiveness and ability to drive.
Wilson led his team in scoring last season with 16-points per game. It was the third best point average in Cumberland County, according to NCPrepSports.net. He led the county in assists with 144 total, averaging 4.5 assists per game.
St. Joseph's, which is in the Atlantic-10 Conference, got the commitment from Wilson over Arizona State, Davidson, Old Dominion and Virginia Commonwealth.
