Juniors T.J. Thorpe and Vad Lee added to their lists of offers this week.
Thorpe, an athlete from Jordan, picked up an offer from Georgia Tech on Monday, then added another offer from South Carolina on Wednesday.
"I really like the coaches at Georgia Tech," Thorpe said of the offer from the Yellow Jackets. "They run the ball a lot, which I like, and the coaches are just great guys."
The South Carolina offer wasn't something Thorpe was necessarily expecting.
"I hadn't spoken with anyone from South Carolina until I got the offer today," he said.
Thorpe said his recruitment has started to pick up a lot in the last few weeks, adding that he wasn't sure when he would make a decision.
"I thought I was getting close to narrowing down my list, but the offers started coming in, so things have opened back up a little bit," he said.
Prior to getting the two recent offers, Thorpe said North Carolina was his leader, followed "closely" by N.C. State and Wake Forest. Duke, however, has fallen down on his list.
"Duke lost Coach [Scottie] Montgomery, and that was a big hit," Thorpe said. "I had a good personal relationship with him."
Thorpe currently has offers from Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wake Forest.
Vad Lee also gets USC offer
Lee, who played quarterback for Hillside last season, also received an offer from South Carolina on Wednesday.
"I don't really know much about South Carolina yet because I haven't talked to anyone from the school yet," Lee said. "I called the coach, but he wasn't there when I called, so I'll hopefully get to talk to him tomorrow."
There is no clear leader for Lee yet.
"I don't really have a leader," he said. "All of the schools are pretty much equal right now, and I'm considering all of them."
One school Lee said is dropping on his list is East Carolina.
"[East Carolina] lost their coach, and I haven't heard from them since then," he said.
Lee said he expects more options down the road as offers continue coming in.
So far, Lee posts offers from Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Maryland, N.C. State, North Carolina and South Carolina.
