Jordan junior T.J. Thorpe now has offers from each in-state ACC school after Wake Forest officially offered him a scholarship this week.

Falcons' assistant coach Jason Luck confirmed the information to HighSchoolOT.com on Thursday morning.

Standing at 6-foot and 180-pounds, Thorpe is capable of playing multiple positions on the football field. Last season for Jordan, Thorpe played wide receiver, running back, kick and punt returner, cornerback and free safety.

Over the course of the 2009 season, Thorpe recorded five kick returns, 120 rushing yards on 18 carries, and caught 55 passes for 950-yards and five scores.

Jordan was 6-6 overall in 2009 and 3-3 in the PAC 6 Conference.

Thorpe was named to the All-Conference Team in 2009, and was also the HighSchoolOT.com Special Teams Player of the Year after breaking the state record for most kick returns for touchdowns in a single season.

The junior posts a 3.77 GPA and has made the honor roll at Jordan every semester.

Thorpe also plays basketball and has received some college interest in the sport.

In football, Thorpe now has five offers. Joining Wake Forest on his list, Thorpe has offers from Duke, East Carolina, N.C. State and North Carolina.
