Last night I went out to Heritage High School very early to shoot some video for a web-only feature we were going to do on the fan support. I did several interviews, got lots of good footage, and went to put it together when I got back.
Guess what.
For the second time this season, the ingestion machine (the machine we use to get video off a tape onto the computer to put on the web) ate my tape.
Usually when the machine does this you can spool it back together, but this time it actually broke the ribbon inside the tape. Not good.
So all the video I shot (interviews with Cougar Crazies, interview with Wake County athletic director Bobby Guthrie, post game interviews, and the post game awards ceremony) is now gone.
To all the fans up at WFR, I'm sorry. I had to make this apology earlier to some Harnett Central players. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with the tape, but I must have some really bad luck!
