Drew Pasteur, the creator of the Fantastic 50, sent the following errors to HighSchoolOT.com in the NCHSAA's preliminary brackets...
4AA West - Butler should be #1 over Richmond (head-to-head win)
4AA West - Lake Norman (8-3, 3-3) must drop a non-conf win to be 7-3, not 8-2, which affects seeds #8, #9, and #10.
4A West - Sun Valley and Porter Ridge are seeded differently than expected, but it may not be a mistake, as there was some question over how tiebreakers would be applied in a four-way tie within a split conference. In past years, the usual tiebreakers among all four teams have been used to seed them 1st through 4th, and then the top team in each class has been taken from that list as #1s. It appears that this conference just looked at head-to-head between the pair of tied teams in each class. It's not my understanding of how the process works, but it does make sense.
3AA East - West Carteret (5-6, 1-6) must drop a non-conf. win, so they are 4-6 with only 1 conference win, putting them out of the playoffs (not even in a draw for the last berths).
2AA - West Stokes and West Stanly are in the wrong brackets. West Stokes is farther west, but is in the 2AA East, while West Stanly (farther east) is in the 2AA West.
1AA West - West Montgomery (8-3, 5-1) should be listed at 8-2, instead of 7-3, which puts them ahead of Murphy for the #7 seed.
1A East - Northampton-East and Northampton-West are reversed in the brackets. (Thanks, Brian Simmons, for pointing this out.)
