Ravenscroft JV tennis team finishes perfect season

The Ravenscroft Junior Varsity Girls Tennis team completed a perfect 15-0 perfect season with a 6-3 win at Cary Academy on Thursday, Oct. 15. The team finished 7-0 against TISAC conference opponents this season.

For the season, Ravenscroft outscored its opponents 102-24 in matches. The Ravens' closest match was a 5-4 win at Saint Mary’s on Aug. 27.

The Junior Varsity Girls Tennis team is led by Coach David Myers.

“This team is just a fantastic group of girls who really came together in the last few weeks,” said Myers. “We definitely played our best tennis at the end of the season. The team was good at the beginning of the season, but once each team member began to understand her role, that’s when we really became a great team.”
