At 6-foot-8 and 290-pounds, Rob Crisp is not only impressive in stature, but also in skill as one of the best offensive tackle prospects in the U.S.
Crisp, a rising senior at Cedar Ridge High School, received the Maxwell Award last week at the Football University’s Top Gun camp in Paisley, Fla. The award is given to the most outstanding player.
Crisp will be playing for N.C. State post-graduation from Cedar Ridge. He will also likely play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9 in San Antonio, Texas.
Crisp and defensive back Pete Singer, another N.C. State recruit, transferred from Chapel Hill to Cedar Ridge this summer.
