DURHAM — Southern Durham cornerback A.J. Marshall committed to Wake Forest on Saturday.
Marshall, a three star prospect according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com, intercepted four passes and recovered three fumbles last season for the Spartans. He also broke up 30 passes and recorded 75 tackles. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Marshall recorded a 4.47 second forty yard dash.
According to his profile on Rivals.com, Marshall has a 3.8 grade point average and scored a 1360 on his SAT.
Marshall picked Wake Forest over Duke, East Carolina, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
