HighSchoolOT.com covers high school sports like no one else can

The live chat originally scheduled for Friday evening at 8:30 p.m., has been moved to Sunday evening at the same time due to a scheduling conflict.

We are sorry for any inconveniences.

HighSchoolOT.com's Nick Stevens has been talking to coaches and players, going to practices, attending camps, and watching 7-on-7 competitions and he's ready to talk about the Triangle area's 2009 season.

You've already read about one of Nick's surprise predictions... He think Panther Creek will contend for the Tri-Nine title this year, a program that has not had a winning season in its short history. But could the Catamounts beat Fuquay-Varina?

What about the Cap 7? This is a conference that returns zero starting quarterbacks from last season and graduated a lot of talent. Can it repeat its recent dominance of other Triangle conferences? Who will be the favorite out of that conference? And could this be the most athletic team Leesville Road has ever seen?

And the PAC 6. The conference that is the hardest to predict year in and year out. Who is the favorite there? Is it Southern Durham? Could we see one or more of the non-playoff teams from last season in the upper tier of the conference? What about Jordan?

Southeast Raleigh is the preseason favorite to take the Greater Neuse River, but will Garner rebound from their down season last year? Nick watched Garner at a 7-on-7 this week. And can West Johnston repeat their success from last season?

It's almost August (OK, the first games are a month and a half or more away), and Nick Stevens is taking time to sit down before he leaves for vacation to discuss high school football.

Join Nick right here on HighSchoolOT.com on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. to talk about the upcoming season. Nick will be live for at least 45 minutes, but will stay as long as the conversation keeps moving.

The live chat will open at 8 p.m. and you will be able to send your questions then. Nick will go on at 8:30.
