Leesville Road dedicated their football stadium to the late Marshall L. Hamilton. (October 10, 2008)
As we were entering football schedules into HighSchoolOT.com this week, we discovered something that had the potential to cause some problems.
Leesville Road had East Wake on their football schedule on Sept. 18, but East Wake was scheduled to play Leesville Road on Sept. 11.
You can see where the issue would be.
I told Leesville Road head coach David Green what I had found, and he sent me the correct information back. So, if you’ve looked at the schedule for Leesville Road, East Wake or Southern Lee, the schedule is about to change.
Leesville Road and East Wake will play on Sept. 11 at Leesville Road. The following week, Leesville Road is supposed to go to Southern Lee, but the Cavaliers’ schedule has Leesville Road hosting the game, so that will have to be worked out. But now all teams are on the same page as to when they will play each other.
The schedules on HighSchoolOT.com will be corrected.
