Wake Forest-Rolesville linebacker Terrell Hartsfield has received a written offer from the N.C. State Wolfpack.

According to a report by Rivals.com, the junior received the offer in the mail on May 23.

HighSchoolOT.com reported in March that Hartsfield had received an offer from the Pack, but the letter in the mail makes the scholarship offer official.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker runs a 4.8-second 40-yard dash according to his profile on Rivals.com.

Hartsfield is also receiving interest from East Carolina, North Carolina and Wake Forest.

Dana Bible is recruiting Hartsfield for the Wolfpack.

Hartsfield will be transferring from Wake Forest-Rolesville to Hargrave Military Academy this coming school year. Hartsfield will age out of the N.C. High School Athletic Association's program, and will finish his prep career at the academy. He will leave for Hargrave on Aug. 12.

Wake Forest-Rolesville has had one of the top defenses in the area the last two seasons, and they have won three consecutive Cap Seven Conference championships.

Last season, the Cougars were 12-3, and advanced to the NCHSAA 4-AA Eastern Regional Final where they lost to eventual state runner-up Jack Britt.

Head coach Earl Smith resigned his position at Wake Forest-Rolesville earlier this year and will pursue a career outside of coaching and education.
