Wake Forest-Rolesville vs. Millbrook on October 31, 2008

Millbrook's Nick Murad looks on as Wake Forest -Rolesville's Terrell Hartsfield, (30) catches a pass on Friday night, October 31, 2008 at Millbrook High School in Raleigh.

Wake Forest-Rolesville head football coach Earl Smith has informed HighSchoolOT.com that linebacker Terrell Hartsfield has received an offer from N.C. State.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Hartsfield will not be attending Wake Forest-Rolesville this coming school year. Because of his age, Hartsfield will not be eligible to play in the N.C. High School Athletic Association. Instead, he will play one year of football at Hargrave Military Academy.

Last season, Hartsfield played an integral part of the Cougars' defense that allowed under 12-points per game. He was named the Cap 7 Conference Defensive Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons as well.

The Cougars were 12-3 last season, won the conference championship, and advanced to the 4-AA Eastern Regional Final where they lost to Jack Britt, 27-16.

According to Rivals.com, Hartsfield is being recruited for N.C. State by Wolfpack assistant coach Dana Bible. Bible's son, Logan, is a quarterback at Leesville Road, a conference rival of Wake Forest-Rolesville.

Rivals.com also reports interest from East Carolina, North Carolina and Wake Forest.
