A lot of the same teams are in the Week 1 OT Top 12 Poll, but they come in a different order.
Richmond County remains the No. 1 team in the regional rankings after defeating Sun Valley 56-28 on Friday night, and Jack Britt comes in at No. 2 with a 34-15 win over Pinecrest.
Defending 4-A state champion Scotland County jumped up two spots to No. 3 with a 35-6 win over Seventy-First. Wakefield moved up to No. 4 from No. 6 with a 46-21 win over Riverside.
Leesville Road rounds out the top five with a 21-7 win over Panther Creek, however the Pride dropped one spot from the preseason rankings.
No teams dropped out of the regional rankings, but Hillside and Southeast Raleigh had the biggest drops in the poll, both dropping three spots. The Hornets fell to No. 6 after a 40-20 loss to New Bern, while Southeast Raleigh dropped to No. 12 after a last-minute 13-9 win over Millbrook.
Wakefield overtook Hillside as the top team in the Triangle poll, followed by Leesville Road. Hillside is ranked No. 3 in the Triangle rankings.
Wake Forest-Rolesville is ranked No. 4 in the Triangle rankings after a 35-6 win over Jordan. Garner rounds out the top five after a 45-6 throttling of Enloe.
The biggest jump up was Cleveland, moving three spots to No. 8 this week after a 48-3 win over North Johnston, even moving ahead of conference rival Triton who defeated Clinton 25-21.
Southern Durham dropped four spots to No. 12 after a 49-25 loss to Dudley.
Fuquay-Varina dropped out of the Triangle Top 12 Poll after a 42-35 loss to West Johnston, while the Wildcats moved into the poll for the first time at No. 11. The Bengals were the only team to drop out of the Triangle poll this week.
