Enloe athlete to walk on at NC State

Enloe High School senior Charlie Twitty will continue his football career at the next level.

Twitty, an athlete on the Enloe football team, will be a preferred walk on at NC State this fall, according to former Enloe football coach Ron Clark.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Twitty played on both sides of the ball for the Eagles as a running back and safety. According to his profile on Hudl.com, Twitty runs a 4.48 second 40-yard dash.

Twitty was an all-conference selection last fall.

During the 2011 season, Enloe recorded a 2-9 overall record, including a 2-5 record in the Cap 8 4-A Conference.
