North Carolina is the first offer on the table for one of the top wide receivers in the area from the Class of 2013.
Bunn wide receiver Johnathan Alston picked up the offer from the Tar Heels on Feb. 1, according to his high school coach Chris Miller.
"This is his first offer, but he has received interest from Notre Dame as well," Miller said.
According to MaxPreps.com, Alston recorded nearly 400 receiving yards last season on 17 catches, scoring four times. He also ran the ball four times for 41 yards and three touchdowns.
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Alston also played defensive end for Bunn last season. On defense, Alston recorded 51 tackles and two sacks.
Bunn posted a 9-4 overall record for the 2011 season. Alston earned all-conference honors this past season in the Northern Carolina 2-A Conference.
