Marshall told HighSchoolOT.com on Tuesday afternoon that he will announce his college commitment on Dec. 6.

The announcement will take place at 2:45 p.m. at Millbrook High School.

According to Rivals.com, Marshall is the No. 1 ranked all-purpose back in the Class of 2012, and the No. 65 overall player in the nation. The recruiting website rates him as a 4-star prospect.

With over three dozen Division-I offers, Marshall has narrowed his list down to six schools – Clemson, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Notre Dame and South Carolina.

He has visited Clemson, Florida, Georgia and, most recently, Notre Dame already this season. He will visit South Carolina this weekend. Marshall does not plan to take a visit to North Carolina.

At 5-foot-11 and 190-pounds, Marshall posted nearly 1,900 rushing yards this season for Millbrook, scoring 25 touchdowns. The Wildcats recorded a 6-6 overall record, falling to conference rival Wake Forest-Rolesville in the first round of the state playoffs.

Marshall has been named to the Under Armour All-American Bowl and was the Cap 8 4-A Conference's Offensive Player of the Year.

Marshall will graduate from Millbrook this semester and enroll in college in time for the spring semester.

You can mark UNC off the list. He's not going to sit behind Gio for the next 3 years.
