Southern Durham's Jordon Brown has picked up an offer from North Carolina.

According to his high school coach, Darius Robinson, Brown received an offer from the Tar Heels on Saturday morning, the day after the Spartans defeated cross-town rival Hillside in front of a packed crowd at N.C. Central University.

At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Brown can play multiple positions, including running back and wide receiver. UNC has offered Brown as a running back, Robinson said.

A member of the Class of 2016, Brown also has offers from Boston College, East Carolina, NC State and West Virginia.

Southern Durham is the defending 3-AA state champion. So far this season the Spartans have compiled a 2-0 record with a 41-0 win over Capitol Christian (MD) and a 16-13 win over Hillside.

Brown caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the state championship game last season.
