Clayton ranked No. 1 in OT Top 10 boys poll

The Clayton Comets are the No. 1 team in this week's Triangle OT Top 10 Boys Basketball Poll.

Clayton is tied for first place in the Greater Neuse River Conference with Garner, who is ranked No. 3 in this week's poll. The two teams will play each other twice this week – at Garner on Wednesday and at Clayton on Friday.

J.F. Webb and North Carolina recruit Isaiah Hicks comes in at No. 2. The Warriors have won two games in a row against Cardinal Gibbons and Northern Vance after dropping two straight in the Holiday Invitational against Word of God and High Point Christian.

Broughton is ranked No. 4 while Millbrook is No. 5, despite the Wildcats being the No. 1 team in the Cap 8. The two teams will meet for the second time on Friday night at Broughton. Millbrook won the first game by one point in December.
