East Carolina is the third football program to offer Carter this week, joining Colorado State and North Carolina State.

Carter led Clayton with 78 catches for 1,167 yards and 15 touchdowns in his junior campaign. He also became first wide receiver in North Carolina history with a touchdown reception in eight-straight games last season.

The standout junior has recently taken unofficial visits to Clemson, South Carolina and Wake Forest, and he will also take a visit to Penn State this weekend.

Carter now holds offers from Colorado State, ECU, Elon, NC State, Michigan State and Minnesota.
