Carrboro's Sharp, Peretin earn Carolina 12 awards after state finals run

The Carolina 12 all-conference team was announced for football on Monday after Carrboro fell in the state championship on Saturday.

Carrboro coach Jason Tudryn was named the conference's Coach of the Year.

The Offensive Back of the Year is Carrboro sophomore Trai Sharp, while the Offensive Lineman of the Year is Carrboro's Scott Peretin.

South Granville's Taz Strudwick was named the Defensive Lineman of the Year, while Northwood's Jourden Blackmon was named the Defensive Back of the Year.

Granville Central won the Carolina 12 Sportsmanship Award.
