Ravenscroft forward Marcus Bryan, a member of the Class of 2013, has signed to play college basketball this fall.

According to Ravenscroft boys basketball coach Kevin Billerman, Bryan signed with UNC-Charlotte on Tuesday. He will enroll at the school this fall.

Last fall, Bryan made a verbal commitment to Appalachian State, but later rescinded that commitment.

At 6-foot-8 and 215 pounds, Bryan helped Ravenscroft to the 2012 N.C. Independent School Athletic Association 3-A state championship. He has also been a member of conference championship teams and Holiday Invitational championship teams.

Last season, Bryan averaged 17.8 points, 12.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game for the Ravens. He is the all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker at the school.

Bryan has also participated in Dave Telep's Carolina Challenge, a one-day camp in Raleigh for the top underclassmen in the state of North Carolina.
