Leesville Road senior Braxton Berrios will make his college commitment on Saturday afternoon at his high school.

Berrios, who has routinely released recruiting news on Twitter, tweeted his final five on Monday evening. The list includes Kentucky, Miami, Oregon, South Carolina and Tennessee, in no particular order.

The recruiting process will come to an end for Berrios this weekend when he announces his commitment at a press conference at his high school at noon on Saturday.

Berrios stands at 5-foot-9 and 181 pounds. He is a four-star prospect and the No. 14 player in the state of North Carolina, according to

At the next level, Berrios is expected to play the slot receiver position.

In the last two seasons, Berrios has helped Leesville Road to back-to-back Cap 8 titles with undefeated regular season records.

Earlier this year, Berrios injured his left foot. He has not played in a game since the first half of the Sept. 20, game against Panther Creek. The Pride lost that game after leading 18-7 when Berrios was hurt.

It is not known when Berrios expects to return.

I was hoping he'd choose Carolina, but since he didn't I hope he picks the only ACC team on his short list - Miami.
