Battle of undefeated teams headlines 'HSOT Live' this week

— "HighSchoolOT Live" returns this Friday night with eight games in the eastern half of the state, including one between two undefeated teams.

Friday's Function at the Junction rivalry game between Tarboro and SouthWest Edgecombe will feature two unbeaten squads. The Vikings come in ranked No. 1 in the 1-A Associated Press Prep Football Poll this week. This will mark the first time "HighSchoolOT Live" has carried a game from SouthWest Edgecombe High School.

Kickoff of the Edgecombe County rivalry game is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Another undefeated team, Clayton, returns to the "HighSchoolOT Live" line up this week. The Comets, who feature NC State recruit Devin Carter at wide receiver, are hosting one-loss Fike in a non-conference game at 7 p.m.

The Game of the Week on Friday will feature Sanderson and Green Hope. The Spartans feature NC State recruit Trent Pennix, while the Falcons have UNC recruit Jordyn Adams.

Stream the "HighSchoolOT Live" studio show with hosts Nick Stevens and Wayne Bragg and individual games every week at 7 p.m. on and the free HighSchoolOT mobile app. This year, you can also watch the studio show over-the-air on WRAL2. The studio show and the individual games can also be seen on the WRAL app for Amazon Fire, Roku and Apple TV.

Stevens and Bragg will take you around the area with live look-ins and instant replays of big moments, providing analysis and opinions throughout the night. The studio show will air at 7 p.m. and last through the evening until games end.
