I heard that johnston County does not have any legion ball teams this summer. Is this true? I know Clayton used to have a strong program but I haven't heard anything about them in the newspaper lately.

Someone asking a question doesn't mean their kid got cut. A number of the Johnston County Schools are playing in the Summer Scholastic League and are not involved in the Legion program this year. Not sure of the reason exactly, but I know that Cleveland, West Johnston, SSS, and Clayton all have teams in the Scholastic League. At least Cleveland and West played Legion last summer.

Looks like Clayton and Raleigh Post 1 are the top seeds. I am pretty sure both are 11-1 in conf.
